![]() It also rode better (softer) then the harsh C7. ![]() ![]() The SC10 was much lighter then the C7 it replaced. In 95 Skidoo released the Formula S and SL in the new "S" chassis which was pretty much the same chassis with a new bellypan and hood and rear suspension called the SC10 with 10inches of travel. pulled hard enough for a 470cc sled and got exceptional fuel millage. My overall impressions of the one I had was that it was one hell of a sled. The F chassis, while much better in the rough then the PRS sleds still was on the heavy side for a 470cc sled. I believe it was slightly under 7" actually. It had around 6inches of front suspension travel and still had the C7 rear skid with around 7" of total travel. The MXZ had a fiberglass hood with BIG (for the time) "night dial" gauges which were far better then the old small ones that they replaced. but the MXZ was a newer version with updated electronics and different heads. The F chassis had the all new DSA front suspension which was much lighter then the PRS sleds. In 93 the MXZ was in the F chassis while the MX was still in the PRS chassis. ![]() The F chassis was an all new chassis that was 100% new from the PRS series sleds that SkiDoo had been making since 85 or so. The 93 MXZ (and mach z) were the 1st year of the "F" chassis sleds for Skidoo. Well damn I want your sled! I had one of those way back in 94.
